All projects will require half payment to start and the remainder once work is complete. Projects must be submitted in MS Word file. When you send us a handwritten manuscript, we will provide you with the address to mail it to. We will cover USPS return shipping. Tracking will be included so that we can send back your handwritten manuscript once it has been typed.
Any project can be rejected by us at any time.
Only you can answer this question. An author owns the copyright to his/her work when they write it. Extra copyright protection is not necessary to self-publish, but only you can decide whether that extra expense is relevant to you. We are not legal advisors, so of course, this is just our opinion.
Copy Editing – a hybrid form of editing that offers both proofreading and editing, along with an editorial or manuscript critique. Suggestions are usually made in the comments section of the document.
Our copy editing services include an in-depth line edit and an editorial critique. During the line edit, we review the manuscript for punctuation, grammatical, and spelling issues and inconsistencies; word flow and word choice; sentence, paragraph, and dialogue structure; and inconsistencies with details or word usage. Other suggestions may relate to character and plot. Comments are noted in the comments section of the document.
Our copy editors today use tracked changes and the comments section of the document to provide change suggestions. Since most suggestions are subjective, we provide all of them in the comments section of the document. It’s imperative for writers to understand that the ultimate decision is up to them. Our job isn’t to persuade anyone to write a manuscript in a particular way. Instead, it’s to help the writer see how making changes could improve the manuscript.
No. Since all or most of the work is done in the comments section of the document.
You may decide you need an extra round of proofreading once you have worked through each suggestion and taken a fine-tooth comb through your manuscript once more. A final round of proofreading is done for an extra fee.
Simple answer is no if you would like to list them that would be something discussed between you and that editor.
